
Easy Microwave Fluffy Oyakodon
A single-serving oyakodon you can make with just a Ziploc container and a microwave. Long green onion, shiitake mushrooms, and chicken breast are heated with a seasoning mixture, then finished with beaten egg for a soft, silky texture. No stovetop needed, so you can put together a dish quickly.

Cut 50g of long green onion diagonally.
0:08~1 minTrim the stems off 2 shiitake mushrooms and cut them into thin strips.
0:14~1 minCut 1/4 chicken breast into bite-sized pieces.
0:20~1 minIn a bowl, combine the sake, sugar, soy sauce, and water to make the seasoning mixture.
0:25~1 minPrepare a Ziploc container.
Put the long green onion, shiitake mushrooms, and chicken breast into the container.
Pour the seasoning mixture over the top and set the lid on loosely.
Microwave at 500W for 2 to 2 1/2 minutes, until the chicken is cooked through.
0:44~3 minAdd 1 lightly beaten egg.
Set the lid on loosely and microwave at 500W for about 40 seconds.
0:58~1 minPut the desired amount of cooked rice in a bowl and top with the ingredients.
Scatter mitsuba over the top and serve.
