Harumi Kurihara's Macaroni Gratin
A macaroni gratin with homemade white sauce, made using a 3-piece detachable-handle frying pan set. Sauté the shrimp and other ingredients, combine them with the white sauce and macaroni, then put the pan straight into the oven. Since the handle comes off, you can serve it right at the table.

Instructions
Make the white sauce. Instead of using a store-bought one, make it from scratch with butter, flour, and milk.
0:59~10 minSimmer the white sauce down in a 22 cm frying pan. It is deep enough to use for stewing as well.
1:31~5 minOnce the white sauce has reached the right consistency, move on to preparing the ingredients.
Sauté just the shrimp in the frying pan, then remove and set aside.
2:56~3 minBoil the macaroni in a separate frying pan. You can use all three pans at once without them getting in each other's way.
3:32~10 minCombine the boiled macaroni and shrimp with the white sauce for a hearty finish.
4:06~3 minPile plenty of cheese on top, right up to the rim of the pan. Going all the way to the edge is the key.
4:18~2 minRemove the handle and put the whole pan in the oven, baking until the surface is golden brown.
4:32~15 minOnce baked, bring the pan straight to the table. Enjoy while piping hot.
