Fried Dumpling Ball Soup Made with Leftover Gyoza Filling
Leftover gyoza filling is rolled into balls and deep-fried, then rinsed with boiling water to remove excess oil before being added to a katsuo dashi soup. Simmered briefly with bean sprouts, tofu, and shimeji mushrooms, and finished with a scattering of green onion. It's so good you'll want to make gyoza filling just for this soup.
