Cut each mochi in half so they're easier to eat.
Toast the mochi in a frying pan.
Once browned and puffy, transfer to a plate.
Combine water and potato starch and pour into the pan.
Stir with a spatula and heat until it thickens.
Add shiro-dashi, soy sauce, and the Otona no Shake-Shake Mentai, and stir to combine.
Pour the sauce over the mochi.
Scatter chopped scallion to finish.
