Cut the bread. Slice baguette diagonally into 2–3cm rounds; halve toast bread.
1:10~2 minPour the melted vanilla ice cream into a zip-top bag.
1:51~1 minAdd the cut bread to the bag, press out the air, and seal so the bread is fully submerged in the ice cream.
2:04~2 minRefrigerate the soaked bread for several hours.
Get ready to cook. Melt butter in a frying pan over low to medium heat.
3:51~1 minTake the soaked baguette from the fridge, lay it in the pan, and cook both sides until golden brown.
4:18~5 minCook the toast bread the same way. The slices get fluffy, so handle them carefully with a spatula. Brown both sides.
6:10~5 minPlate the French toast and finish with powdered sugar and mint as desired.

バニラアイスの代わりにチョコレートアイスを使うと、苦味が強く出てしまうため、バニラアイスがおすすめ。

パンの種類によって浸す時間を調整する。厚切り食パンの場合は、1時間程度浸すとよりふわふわになる。
