Mala Dipping Somen Noodles

Mala Dipping Somen Noodles

A dipping-noodle take on the currently popular mala tang, recreating the flavor with a combination of doubanjiang and Sichuan pepper instead of mala sauce. Pork belly fat, milk, and ground sesame add richness and a mellow finish, while the numbing tingle and heat that follow make it addictive. Made with somen noodles, it comes together in about 8 minutes.
